Designed for incoming students, this camp is required unless you are out of town on vacation. These camp days are where you learn the basics of high school marching band and get a chance to meet and work with the student leaders. Tuition is $125.00. Everyone participates regardless of ability to pay. Bring the payment and registration form on the first day of camp, June 11 at 1:30 pm in the band room. WHS Wind Ensemble Auditions for incoming 9th graders: Students interested in auditioning for wind ensemble (also called advanced concert band) can do so during rookie band camp. We will set up an appointment after camp starts. For Wind Ensemble auditions, please prepare 4 major scales for memory, two octaves if you are able. There will also be a sight reading piece. If you have a solo that you would like to play for us to further show your skill, you may bring that also.
