Dear Mustang Families:
In addition to opening our doors, on April 19th, for students to come during the tutorial time (1:10 pm to 2:30 pm), we will provide academic cohorts for students who would like to come on campus from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 pm, Monday through Friday. These cohorts will give students the opportunity to participate in distance learning with their current teachers while receiving additional support from content area experts.
WVUSD makes it our highest priority to protect the health and well-being of our students, families, and staff during this unprecedented time. As we slowly integrate student cohort activities under the LA County Department of Public Health (Public Health) guidance, we are taking precautionary measures to minimize any opportunity for transmission of Covid-19.
Please watch the following video for more information about the WHS Academic Cohort Program.

If you are interested in your student participating in the Academic Cohort Program, please fill click the link which will connect you to the interest form.
Student selection for the Academic Cohort Program will be based on student need and school site capacity. Completion of this form does not guarantee a seat in the cohort. Your student’s GLC will reach out to you with more information about the cohort and confirm your student’s participation once a space becomes available.
We look forward to welcoming your student(s) back to campus on April 19th. Go Mustangs!
Thank you,
Andrea Poma, Ed.D.
Assistant Principal
