Little Free Library is officially open to the community!The project was coordinated by Kelvin Wong (12), Cathy Li (10) and Danielle Koay (12). They have been working on it since August. They built and painted the box as well as installed it themselves.
In addition, these three students held a book drive in collaboration with FBLA, NHS, & Interact club members to collect books for the box.
After distance learning and a rise in screen time, they wanted to make books more accessible to the community & give residents an opportunity to disconnect from screens and read!
The Little Free Library is located outside of Little Seed Daycare at 630 Rodeo Way in Walnut.
