Walnut High Community Club voted to increase seating and shade for our students at lunchtime. WHCC ordered 16 tables and 20 umbrellas. We are excited to announce that 5 tables were delivered this week, and 11 more should arrive after Spring Break! While we understand it’s not always possible for all our 2200 students to have lunch at a table in the shade, we strive to increase seating and shade when our budget allows.

We see this as a long-term investment as these heavy-duty tables should last for many years. There are many more opportunities for more tables and umbrellas around the school, so we hope to raise more funds soon.
