On Friday, January 13, the Walnut High School chapter of the National Honor Society held its induction ceremony in front of family and friends.
Members were inducted as they committed to uphold the four pillars of Character, Leadership, Service, and Scholarship.
The candlelight ceremony represents the symbol of a flaming torch of freedom & knowledge, reminding NHS members to bear the searching light of truth and to lead others to follow the light.
