Peer Counseling at Walnut High School is a class and a school service. The class is designed to accomplish three things:

1) To train the Peer Counselors in the proper procedure and skills for helping high school students help themselves

 

2) To help students develop a new understanding of themselves and help them to achieve personal growth.

 

3) To make students aware of helping professions that they may be interested in entering after high school and the issues that those professions deal with.
