On March 8, the Walnut High School Instrumental Music Program had its first Band Buddies rehearsal since 2019. One hundred fifteen fifth-grade participants showed up and rehearsed with our current instrumental music students.

They are so excited to continue rehearsals together and work towards the “Band Buddies Extravaganza Concert” on April 14th! This is THE BEST part of being in band… making friends through music

This is the 10th anniversary of the Band Buddies program with the goal of supporting elementary students in their love for music.
