On May 17, the Board of Trustees recognized some Mustangs who made an impact this school year!

🏅Ryann McGhee was given the Superstar Student Award for all her success inside and outside the classroom. From Band, Color Guard, Student Think Tank, and much more, Ryann has been a model student over the past four years.

🏅 Rigo Rojas was given the Partner in Education Award for his involvement and support in our extra-curricular activities. Whether helping with Walnut High Community Club or taking photos for our athletic teams, Rigo has gone above and beyond for Walnut High School!

🏅The WHS Football team was recognized for its historic CIF Championship they earned this season. The first in school history!

🏅 Anaya Falcon & Ronnie Ramirez were recognized for becoming the State Wrestling Champions this year. Ronnie and Anaya won a CIF Championship, CIF Southern Section Master Championship, and a State Championship - The Wrestling Triple Crown!

🏅 Ashley Yun was recognized for becoming Walnut High School's first individual golf champion in Walnut High School history this year. Ashley will continue her athletic and academic career at Northwestern University.

🏅 Kaleb Dy was recognized for being the Walnut High School board representative this school year.

🏅 Our new teachers were recognized and introduced to the Board of Trustees!
