Today, the Walnut High School Girls Golf Team clinched their place in the prestigious CIF State finals. The team's outstanding performance at the CIF/SCGA SoCal Girls High School Championship saw them finish in an impressive 2nd place overall.

Chloe Cheng and Joanna Song led the charge, each delivering a stellar round with a score of 74. Their exceptional play propelled the team to finish 4 strokes ahead of the talented Torrey Pines High School.

This victory is a testament to the talent and teamwork of the six impressive student-athletes comprising Chloe Cheng, Jackie Li, Kaylin Rhee, Joanna Song, Fiona Yang, and Viv Yen. Their collective efforts and unwavering dedication have earned them the honor of representing Walnut High School at the 2023 CIF Girls Golf State Championship, set to take place at the iconic Pebble Beach on November 15.
