Walnut High School Dual Enrollment Program

Looking to satisfy HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE graduation requirements for FREE???

The Dual Enrollment Program between Walnut High School and Mt. SAC will give you that opportunity. This wonderful partnership provides students the chance to receive college units before they graduate from high school. To qualify, students must be in the 10th grade. In order to receive college credits, students must successfully pass with a "C" or above. College units will only appear on Mt. SAC's transcript.

Please note that seats are VERY LIMITED and courses are not guaranteed. Classes are taught by a Mt. SAC professor, not a WHS teacher. Students are required to meet Mt. SAC's expectations and standards. All grades and assignments will be posted on CANVAS. Students with accommodations will need to contact Mt. SAC's ACCESS program.

With Assembly Bill 288 (California College and Career Pathway- CCAP) and the Board District's approved MOU, only WHS students are allowed to take these courses. Approved courses are held at Walnut High School, not Mt. SAC.

For more information, feel free to contact Instructional Dean, Mr. Nelson Chen @ [email protected].
