Hello WHS Students and Families,

 

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year!  It is an honor to join the Mustang community as your new principal.  As I step into this role, I’m excited to learn more about our school community and support all of the outstanding programs that make Walnut High School a truly special place to learn and grow.  

 

Our purpose is to create a supportive environment that prioritizes success for each and every student.  Our commitment to excellence is reflected in the collaborative efforts of our experienced staff, hardworking students, and partnerships with families. Together, we provide an exceptional educational experience for all students, preparing them with the skills needed to achieve their dreams in today's ever-changing world.  

 

High school is also a time for students to explore their interests and discover new ones. We are proud of the programs we offer, both academic and co-curricular, that give students the opportunity to try something new.  Whether it’s joining a club, participating in a sport, or enrolling in a new elective, I encourage you to get involved and get connected.  At Walnut, there’s something for everyone!   

 

WHS has a proud history of accomplishments, and is consistently ranked as one of the top schools in the nation.  Our students achieve outstanding academic results, participate in award-winning co-curricular programs, and exhibit exceptional leadership skills due to the dedication and investment of our Mustang community.  I am excited to continue our legacy of excellence by immersing myself in the culture, building relationships, and supporting students, staff, and families.
