IMPORTANT 2024-2025 ANNOUNCEMENTS (as of 10/30/2024)
NEW UPDATE!!!
According the the Collegeboard,
- All schools must administer the 28 AP exams digitally (Fully or Hybrid).
- Students will take the digital exams in Bluebook, the same platform used for the SAT.
Fully Digital Exams
Students complete multiple-choice and free-response questions in Bluebook, with all responses automatically submitted at the end of the exam.

- Fully Digital Exams: Art History, Computer Science A, Computer Science Principles, English Language, English Literature, Environmental Science, European History, Human Geography, Psychology, Government, U.S. History.
Hybrid Digital Exams
Students complete multiple-choice questions and view free-response questions in Bluebook, but will handwrite their free-response answers in paper exam booklets, which are returned for scoring.

- AP student presentations during TUTORIAL in the PAC:

- AP Exam Payment and Registration- Tentatively October 28th-November 1st at ASB.
- Make sure to have a valid 2024-2025 Walnut High School student ID.
- Students will be invited by last name (alpha order)

- AP EXAM PAYMENT DEADLINE WITH NO PENALTY FEE IS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8th.
- Pay at Ms. Dibell's Office (B-Building) or Mr. Chen's Office (E-Building)
- Any exam ordered after 11/13 will accrue a $40 late fee + $100.

- Course registration begins!!!
- Open Access for all students interested in taking an AP course. Some prerequisites may apply.
- Talk to your teacher and GLC for AP recommendations.
- Late Exam Fee- $140/exam.
- An AP email receipt will be sent out the last week of Feb to reconfirm your purchased exams. If something is missing, you must talk to the AP Coordinator before March 5th.
March 2025

- AP Coordinators will visit classrooms to check rosters and order exams.
- Students must check receipt email to verify purchased exams.
- Friday, March 5th is the DEADLINE to order a late exam. Late Exam Fee- $140/exam
- March 31st IS THE LAST DAY TO CANCEL ANY EXAM and receive a $60 refund. Collegeboard has a $40 restocking fee. ( 2024 AP Exam Policy- Unused/Cancelled Exams)
APRIL 2025

- No refunds for AP exams. Deadline was March 31st.

- ALL 2024-2025 AP Exams will be administered in schools as paper-and-pencil.
COLLEGEBOARD EXAM ADMINISTRATION POLICY
- NO CELL PHONE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE TESTING ROOM.
- AP exam locations (TBA)
- Students must have a physical 2024-2025 WHS ID present.
- ALL MORNING EXAMS START AT 8:00 AM. STUDENTS MUST BE AT THEIR LOCATION AT 7:15 AM.
- ALL AFTERNOON EXAMS START AT 12:00 PM. STUDENTS MUST BE AT THEIR LOCATION AT 11:15 AM.
- Students will receive a reminder email a week before their exam. The email will include tips and recommendations as well as the rules and expectations.
- Break any of the rules and you will be disqualified.
